World Food Day 2017

20th October 2017
Ms Aboagye (Food Technology teacher) has been teaching students why ‘World Food Day’ is so important. The students learnt about the issue of hunger around the world and the affect it has on people’s general well-being. Students and staff were able to raise money for the charity ‘Action Against Hunger’. Students were able to purchase a variety of food (flat bread (prepared by 8C), samosa, plantain, dumplings, and spring rolls) this week. Ms Aboagye informed staff and students that a staggering £255.60 was raised for the charity.
