Stormont House School Records of Achievement 2016

On Wednesday 22 June the annual Record of Achievement ceremony took place for our Year 11 students, it was a wonderful event which was attended by dignitaries, parents / carers and students from Year 9 and 10. Mr McDonnell spoke about each of the Year 11’s achievements, strengths and plans for the future, Mr Hawes (Chair of Governors) then presented each student with their Record of Achievement folder to the cheers of the assembled audience.
Year 10 were presented with awards for their internal work experience and attendance and punctuality. The Jack Petchey Award for June was presented to Joshua. Each year we present 8 prestigious awards to students who have been nominated for the award by the staff at Stormont House - the winners this year were: The Whitfield Award for Art and Design - Zoe , Queen Elizabeth Trophy - Ayesha / Tia , Edward Miles Award - Timothy, Stephen Ryder Award - Adam, The Williams Lea Award - Jack,The Grosvenor Award - Tommy, Olympic Legacy Trophy - Joe and The Deryn Hall Trophy - Lorell.
The ceremony was a perfect way of honouring our students achievements. Well Done and Good Luck for the future Year 11.
