London Youth Games 2017

7th July 2017

On Wednesday 28 June a selection of students across all year groups took part in the London Youth Games Athletics competition. Our school had the important task of representing the borough of Hackney. The Hackney team as a whole performed fantastically. Overall we won 14 individual medals. Largely due to Stormont House’s students contribution the borough of Hackney boys  team won the whole Athletics competition and the girls team came third in London! It is a tremendous success and is a new personal best for Hackney. Mr Hajdrych was very proud of the students achievements, their team work and that they all tried their best against athletes from 32 other boroughs in London.

Well done to everyone who took part!
