Expressive Arts at Stormont House

The Expressive Arts sessions organised by Ms Wallis have started on Friday afternoons, the whole school is taking part from Year 7 - 12. Each child will choose 3 expressive arts options and will undertake one of their choices per term. Year 12 will act as young leaders, supporting the session leader in their classes enabling them to gain accreditation - Bronze Arts Award. The choices include the following activities: Animation - 2D, 3D, Stop Motion and CGI / Bunting - tie dye, batik, embroidery and fabric painting / Circus Skills - juggling, spinning plates and Diablo / Clay Heads - Learning to make clay heads / Comics - making, designing a superhero and making comics / Design and Make - making a photo frame / key ring, t-shirt printing / Drama - learning how to act, sing and perform / Gardening - choosing new plants, planting seeds, designing an area in the school gardens / Photography - learning how to take photographs / Yarn Bombing Street Art with wool, fence weaving, finger knitting and pompom making.
