Year 10 and 11 Careers Evening

9th January 2015

On Tuesday 27 January we are holding a Careers Parents Evening for parents/carers of students in Years 10 and 11 from 5.30 – 7.30pm. You will have the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with their subject teachers and form tutors. Shaalinie Sivalingham, from Prospects, (previously Connexions Service) will be there to give impartial careers advice for your child as well as representatives from Hackney Community College, City and Islington College and BSix College, who it will be useful to talk to in regards to what they can offer your child. For students in Year 10 it is an opportunity to start making plans for the future. While for Year 11 students those plans need to be finalised in the next few months. This is a very important time in your daughter/son’s educational career and we encourage all parents and carers of Year 10 and 11 students to attend the Careers Parents Evening, whether or not students are intending to stay on in the Sixth Form at Stormont House School.

Tea and coffee will be served during the evening and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 27 January.
