Work Related Learning (WRL)

Work Related Learning provides opportunities to learn through work experience and introduces students to Post 16 opportunities: Further education, apprenticeships and Employment. It covers a wide range of issues relating to college courses and the world of work.
Through internal work experience placements in year 10, students acquire knowledge of the expectations of the workplace and related skills.  Students undertake visits to colleges, work places and training centres. The course includes: Careers, the Williams Lea Mentoring Programme and the AoPE Youth Award Scheme – Level 1
