This year the Expressive Arts programme for years 7, 8 and 9 was based on the theme: "Communicating without Words".  Students attended workshops in drama, dance and photography over two terms.  The drama workshop focussed on expressing emotions, the dance workshop was centred on how to use everyday objects to make sounds that can be used in a dance performance.  In the photography sessions the children took images of themselves and areas of the school and experimented with digital manipulation.  Students then decided which area they were most inspired by and chose that discipline to specialise in. We also piloted a smaller group for video makers who worked as a team to document the programme itself.
