The event is open to young disabled people aged 11-18 years old from the following East London boroughs; Barking & Dagenham, Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
‘Time to Shine’ provides young disabled people with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of inclusive sports, our students undertook competitions in wheelchair basketball, tennis, wallball, sitting volleyball, table tennis, golf, athletics, cycling, archery, judo and swimming.
Our students had a wonderful time at the four day residential, for many the highlight of the event was the disco which took place on Wednesday 12 April, where all of the students were happy to show off their amazing dance moves. Thank you to Mr Alan Walsh for supervising this wonderful event for our students.
