‘Life in My Shoes’ Campaign Workshop

27th November 2015

On Monday 23rd November Natalie Rutstein from the Life in My Shoes Campaign ran a workshop with our year 12 students. Her aim was to raise awareness of HIV and the difficulties faced by those who are HIV positive. Students took part in a fun and informative quiz and saw short films explaining how the infection is transmitted and prevented. They also discussed how the stigma of being different can easily lead to being treated unfairly and how important it is to develop empathy for others.
