Jack Petchey Winner for May 2017

21st July 2017

Thomas in 7M was put forward for the Jack Petchey Award for May 2017 by MS Motin his form tutor. Thomas has grown in confidence and gone from strength to strength since joining Stormont House. He has applied himself well this year and so has made progress across all subjects. He always tries hard to do his best in everything he does, and attempts to apply new knowledge he has learned independently. His willingness to develop and improve his work is driven by his determination to do his best and to succeed well at everything. This has ensured that he always produces work of quality.

Thomas has a great sense of humour and sense of fair play which he brings into his interactions with his class mates and adults alike. He is always polite, kind, caring and helpful; he is usually the first to offer his help to anyone or to turn his hand to anything in class without being asked. He is popular with his peers and has worked hard this year to maintain good behaviour and so provide a great role model for his peers. Thomas is an asset to his class and to our school.
