Farringdon Station – Year 10

5th May 2017

On the 2/3 May Year 10 visited Farringdon station. Whilst there the students had a tour round the station and saw the station control room. They learnt about how the timetables are set and how the control room manages the trains and knows who is on what train and where it is going. It was a really fascinating trip which ended with an informative discussion about TfL apprenticeships and how they work. The students met a lot of station staff, many of whom commented on how polite and interested our students were!
