Ex-Student Educational Success

23rd September 2016

In the first week of term Stormont House was visited by two of our ex students who came back to let us know how they had progressed with their education since they had left school in June 2010.

Samuel and Abiola have both succeeded in their chosen paths since leaving school. Samuel has just successfully completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours Degree in Music Industry Management at Canterbury Christ Church University. Samuel is still a keen footballer and athelete  who runs competitively for his Athletics Club. He is now planning for his future in Music Management .

Abiola started his further education at City and Islington College, but decided after a short period of time that  he wanted to change courses to undertake a BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Business, he also decided that to complete this move he would like to change colleges. He therefore moved from City and Islington and started at BSix College in Hackney. Abiola succeeded in completing the Level 1 Diploma and proceeded to complete both Level 2 and Level 3 (Extended) Diploma in Business which he completed in June 2016. He has since moved to Enfield College where he is on a scheme where the college organise business apprenticeships for students with a varied array of businesses which includes: Manpower / Raleigh International / The Accounts Navigator / London Borough of Enfield / Citizenship Foundation / Enfield Council and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Foundation.

We would like to wish the boys success in their future careers and look forward to hearing about their endeavours.
